The international environmental project business of the WTE Group calls for decisions to be made that have major implications. In order to make individual projects plannable and manageable and to make decisions reliably and effectively, WTE has set up an integrated management system (IMS) for the entire group: a reliable standard for all employees and all the customers that we are involved with.

The following industrial standards serve as the foundation for our compliance with all directives, regulations and laws that are relevant for the work we do:
WTE Wassertechnik is the first provider of municipal and industrial water management to have all its processes successfully certified, from acquisition and quotations to design, construction and operation. Regular inspections performed by specialist external auditors confirm that our employees are working in compliance with the industrial standards.
The integrated management system of the WTE Group forms the common basis of our company’s sustainability.
Sustainability is a principle that encompasses many layers, involving the economy, the environment and human beings. Our sustainability goals, which we compiled to align all activities of the WTE Group and which are continuously expanded on, cover all of these three dimensions – an integrated system that we use to manage the complexity of sustainable action.
The sustained growth of the WTE Group is supported by the expansion of the project business in Germany and abroad. We identify, control and manage any business, operating, finance and event-related risks with our extensive risk management and control systems. Thanks to these elementary actions within our integrated management, we are able to exploit opportunities that have previously gone unnoticed and optimise our potential for improvement.
All subsidiaries and branches are integrated into the WTE Group’s IMS system. We have thus created an international standard that is continuously developed for the countries in which the WTE Group operates. Work involving different international teams within the WTE Group is made considerably easier by using harmonised processes and interfaces. The transparency of the system and continuous improvement help to facilitate goal-oriented project management thanks to clear information processes, communication and documentation – which benefits our customers, as our services can be designed and planned with corresponding efficiency. We make our Integrated Management Manual available to interested parties.
