Since 2018, WTE has been expanding the Tubli wastewater treatment plant in Bahrain’s capital.

The tunnel drilling work for the construction of the connecting pipe between the inlet collecting chamber and the inlet pump was completed on 5 July 2021.
The pipeline is made of GRP (glass fiber reinforced plastic) pipes with 0.10m wall thickness an​d has the following dimensions:

• Diameter 3m
• Length approx. 400m
• Depth approx. 25​m
