We operate drinking water facilities for the local population in several supply areas. Drinking water is extracted from sources, wells and surface waters such as rivers and the sea. To meet drinking water requirements, we develop water resources that are suitable in terms of quantity and quality. The choice of water resource is critically relevant in assuring the long-term operation of the entire system.

Our freshwater networks for the distribution of processed water are sized, maintained and repaired using the latest calculation programmes. In addition to long-term maintenance plans, our constant laboratory analysis and elaborate damage control concepts are extremely important for trust-based collaboration with customers and authorities as well as the fulfilment of strict legal requirements. The experience gained from operating water supply systems such as those in Moscow, Budva, Windeck and Buckow feeds directly into the planning process for new drinking water projects.
